- Code of Conduct -
I have the right to decline a commission for any reason.
I have the right to cancel a commission at any time for any reason. (You will always be refunded according to my refund policy below if this happens)
My set prices are firm. Please don't try to haggle for a lower price!
I'm happy to make changes to your commission during the WIP stage (or after it has been completed if possible), however excessive revisions may be subject to an extra fee, depending on the amount of work that is redone.
- Usage Rights -
Unless otherwise specified, anything purchased for me is strictly for personal use only.
Personal use means you may not make a monetary profit off of my art in any way. This includes using my art to bring interest to your social media such as YouTube or Twitch if you make any money through things such as ads or donations. Feel free to ask if you have questions about this!
When using my artwork for personal use, please credit me! My social media usernames are all @blushingbats (this includes Toyhouse, Deviantart, Art Fight, Twitter, & Instagram)
Please do not make alterations to my artwork! Do feel free to ask if you would like an edit made - as long as I have the file and the edit is not major, I'd be happy to make a change for you at any time.
I still own the rights to the artwork I create for you, and I may post it to any of my social media, or use it as examples of my commissions. I will never directly profit off of your commission, and I will always credit your username for your character!
Please discuss with me beforehand if you would like your commission to remain private - if not stated, I will assume all commissions are okay to be shared to my social media, and you will be tagged in the description when I upload it!
- Payment & Refund Policy -
I require full payment upfront through Paypal before I begin any work.
Please be prepared to tell me the email you use for Paypal so I can send you an invoice.My refund policy is as follows:
Refunds will vary based on the amount of work already completed at the time the refund is requested.
100% refund if I have not began working, or if I am in the process of sketching
75% refund if I am in the process of linework
50% refund If I am in the process of flat colors
25% refund if I am in the process of shading
NO REFUNDS if I have completed your commission and it has been delivered!
When you request a refund, I will stop working immediately, and you will receive the artwork exactly as is.
Adoptable

- Payment -
I only take payment through Paypal, and will ask for your paypal email to send an invoice!
I only do holds for people who have bought from me before, and for no more than one week
If I don't get a response from you in one week, whatever I'm selling will open back up and may be claimed by someone else!
- Usage Rights -
All designs I make are for personal use only unless otherwise specified.
You don't have to credit me every time you use one of my designs, but please credit me every time you use my original artwork!
Please don't take my username off of the designer credit unless you majorly redesign the character!
- Artwork -
Any artwork I create is also strictly for personal use unless otherwise specified.
Please don't alter my original artwork. If you want a small change, please feel free to contact me, I save all of my files and would be happy to make a small adjustment for you!
Please credit me whenever you use my artwork! I'd love a link back to one of my social medias, but just "art by blushingbats" is enough, thank you!
- Reselling, trading, and gifting -
Reselling my designs is okay, but please don't try to turn a profit off of them - I'd prefer if you kept the resale value to what you originally paid + any commissioned artwork, though this isn't a strict rule!
Trading and gifting my designs is also always okay!
I'd like to keep track of my designs on Toyhouse, so would prefer my designs stay owned by other Toyhouse users and the profile be transferred through the site. If you're giving one of my designs to someone off of Toyhouse, please make sure they know who designed it!

I will send a WIP once after the sketch is completed before I finish the drawing - I will make adjustments once, but any large changes or additional revisions may come at a fee.

✞ Rush Deadlines ✞
I may or may not be able to provide a rushed commission with a short deadline. Rushed commissions are always assessed on a case-by-case basis.
If your deadline is long enough for my normal workflow, I won't charge you a rush fee.
If your deadline is faster than my estimated turnaround, but achievable with my current real-life schedule and other demands, I may charge a rush fee depending on how soon the deadline is and how much work would need to go into the commission.
✞ Excessive Revisions / Changes ✞
I am always happy to make changes and revisions to your commission, however excessive amounts of requests or difficult changes at later stages in the drawing process may require additional fees.
Fee price would be based on the amount of work required to meet your request.
Please do keep in mind that not all changes and revisions will come with a fee! I am happy to make free changes since I want my clients as happy as possible with the finished result. I only charge fees when I feel the demands have become a little excessive, or should have been asked earlier - for example, if I show you the sketch and you say it looks good and that I can continue, but then you request the pose to be changed after I have moved onto lineart/color.
✞ Highly Complex Characters ✞
Characters that have more extreme levels of complexity or details in their design may require an additional fee to compensate for the extra time it takes me to draw them.
I am quite the perfectionist and spend a lot of time perfecting every one of your character's details, so I promise this additional fee will be worthwhile ♡
I will always be upfront about complex character design fees before you have paid your commission - these will never be added later on.

Refunds are available based on the amount of work completed when you request a refund. If I have not begun work at all, you can ask for a full refund. If I have started working, I will refund a partial amount based on the amount of work I have completed (You can read my full TOS for more info on partial refunds). If I have completed your YCH, a refund will no longer be available!
I will provide two WIPs during my work process. The first WIP will be when the sketch is complete, before I line and color. This is your main chance to make changes to the drawing itself! The second WIP will be when the drawing itself is done, before I animate it. This is your main chance to ask for color corrections! Minor changes will be free of charge, but major changes, or changes requested outside of these WIP periods may be subject to an extra fee.
These YCHs are strictly for personal use only. Please do not use it for anything where you would be profiting off of my work. If you are interested in using your commission for other purposes, please discuss this with me - there will be an additional charge!
If you use your finished commission on a public page somewhere, I would really appreciate if you either used the version I provide with my signature on it or linked back to me! ♡
